CarpoolQR Safety & Community Guidelines

You must be 18 or older to use CarpoolQR.

CarpoolQR does not screen, background-check, verify driving records, insure, or supervise rides. We do not provide transportation. Any ride or meeting is a private arrangement between users.

• Prefer coworkers you already know or who share a workplace lot
• Message in-app first; do not share unnecessary personal details
• Meet in public, well-lit areas (e.g. lot entrance)
• Tell a friend or family member your plan
• Trust your instincts — cancel if anything feels wrong
• Never feel obligated to accept a ride or passenger

• Obey all traffic and vehicle laws
• Hold a valid licence and required insurance if you drive
• Do not drive impaired
• Do not use CarpoolQR for commercial taxi or for-hire work without proper licensing

You must not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone
• Send sexual, hateful, or illegal content
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Scrape, spam, or abuse the Service
• Share another person's private information without consent
• Use the Service while under 18

If someone violates these guidelines, stop contact, leave the lot if needed. You can block anyone from the lot list or chat. In an emergency, contact local emergency services (e.g. 911 in Canada/US).

Workplace hosts who post QR codes remain responsible for their own workplace policies. CarpoolQR does not replace your company's HR, safety, or insurance programs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarpoolQR is not liable for any injury, loss, or dispute arising from interactions between users or any ride or meeting arranged using the Service. See the Terms of Use.
